WALDORF, Md. — A 21-year-old man was hospitalized Wednesday night after being struck by a vehicle on Western Parkway near Acton Lane.
Emergency crews were dispatched around 9:50 p.m. Sept. 2, 2026, for a reported pedestrian crash.
The driver reported that it was dark and the pedestrian was in the roadway when the collision occurred. The driver remained at the scene.
The pedestrian was conscious and breathing when crews arrived but complained of a head injury.
EMS transported the man to UM Capital Region Medical Center for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
