Tiffany V. Bell
Waldorf, MD— On Feb. 28, Charles County Sheriff’s Officer R. Pickeral responded to the area of Smallwood Drive West at the Park and Ride for the report of a motor vehicle crash.
Pickeral made contact with both drivers, one later identified as the defendant, Tiffany V. Bell, 22, of Waldorf. Pickeral smelled a strong odor of marijuana emitting from Bell’s vehicle.
According to court documents, Bell told Pickeral, “the marijuana was all gone because she had smoked it earlier in the day.”
Pickeral searched Bell’s car and, “located 41 individually packaged bags of a green leafy substance in the center console of the vehicle located in a black Beat by Dre case,” according to charging documents.
Bell was arrested and charged with CDS possession of marijuana and CDS possession with intent to distribute.
Bell at this time does not have a scheduled court date. Bell faces a maximum jail sentence of 21 years and/or a maximum fine of $26,000.
