On Nov. 29 at 1:07 a.m., Calvert County Dep. Vaughn Evans responded to the intersection of Chesapeake Avenue and Avenue B in St. Leonard for the report of disorderly subjects.
Upon his arrival he could hear people yelling and he observed three juvenile males on the southbound side of Chesapeake Avenue. He activated his spot light and the juveniles ran in different directions. Evans was able to apprehend two of the juveniles and determined that both were under the influence of alcohol.
A 16-year-old male from St. Leonard was charged on a youth report with obstruction of justice and disorderly conduct and was also charged on a uniform juvenile civil citation with possession and/or having on his breath an alcoholic beverage after he blew a .19 on the Preliminary Breath Test on the scene.
The 15-year-old male from Prince Frederick was charged on a youth report with obstruction of justice and failure to obey a lawful order and also charged on a uniform juvenile civil citation with possession and/or having on his breath an alcoholic beverage after he blew a .20 on the PBT on the scene.
Both juveniles were released to a parent.
