Leonardtown, Md – April 17, By now, most of you following the local news and social media have heard of the unfortunate incident that occurred at Breton Bay G & CC early this afternoon.
A military helicopter out of Ft. Belvoir performed a “hard landing” in the area between #3 and #4 fairway. At this current time, members of the US Army and St Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office are conducting an investigation into the incident. It is anticipated the investigation will take some time.
Until further notice, the course will be closed to all play, also to include use of the driving range.
