St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police responded to an accident on Route 5 in Mechanicville at approximately 12:35 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28.
The driver of the vehicle shown was struck by another driver who failed to yield the right of way and was sighted at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle shown was treated at Civista Hospital for minor injuries and released.
