CALIFORNIA, Md. — We are receiving reports of a motor vehicle crash this morning that has left one person injured.
At approximately 5:49 a.m. on December 16, first responders were called to the scene of Patuxent Beach Road and Oak Drive for reports of a single vehicle involved in a crash.
Units would arrive and discover a single vehicle which had gone off the road, also striking a utility pole in the process.
The male driver was assessed by EMS on the scene and would be taken to a nearby hospital by ground for additional treatment.
The northbound side of Patuxent Beach Road was shut down temporarily after the utility pole that the vehicle struck was laying in the road.
