Update — 10:45am Reports from the scene indicate that Amber Drive has been closed to traffic.
California, MD – At 10:38 a.m. authorities in St. Mary’s County reported an active gas leak had been detected in the Hickory Hill off of Chancellors Run road. The hazardous material teams are on the scene. Residents should be advised that this area is currently being evacuated by authorities and streets in this area and being closed.
Avoid this area until further notice.
