Ageless Fun: Garvey, Northern and Loffler Senior Centers

The Garvey Senior Activity Center staff will feature a Divine staff-prepared luncheon with Christmas Caroling Karaoke before and after lunch on Thursday, Dec. 18. Entertainment begins at 11 a.m. with lunch served at 12:30 p.m.  The lunch menu with feature chicken divine, heavenly sweet potato bake, angel biscuits, white cake with fruit topping and whipped clouds and celestial tea. During lunch, enjoy some of your favorite holiday tunes and afterwards join in on Christmas caroling karaoke led by Knight’s Karaoke featuring D.J. Ja-nay-nay. On Tuesday, Dec. 16 at 12 p.m., pinochle players meet at the Northern Senior Activity Center. There is room for more players to fill out a second table playing ‘double pinochle’. If interested drop by the center to join in. Bring your lunch and eat before games begin.

Loffler Senior Activity Center will be having a three-hour bingo session where the prizes are Christmas presents that have been donated!  The cost will be $5 for 3 cards! The fun starts on Wednesday, Dec. 17 at 10:30 a.m. and continues until 1:30 p.m. (There will be a quick lunch break and then back to Bingo.)  While you are here why not order a lunch?  Lunch is $5 for those under 60 and by donation for those 60+.  Please call (301) 737-5670 to make a reservation for bingo and let us know if you wish to order a lunch.

Here’s a chance to make a little Christmas centerpiece for your home.
