Want to get away from the economic bad news or the stress at work? We’re offering a chance to do just that! The Humane Society of Charles County is sponsoring a raffle for a week in Honolulu for two, to include air fare, hotel, rental car, and $1000 spending cash!

For only $50 per chance, the Humane Society of Charles County is providing patrons a chance for a week in Honolulu, Hawaii! Those that buy two tickets will get a third $50 ticket free.
 
The first prize includes air fare from a major metropolitan airport in the United States, a rental car while the winners are in Hawaii, hotel, and $1000 to spend on while on vacation. This prize is worth close to $5,000, but those that cannot take advantage of the prize, can take the $5,000 instead.
 
That’s not all. There are more prizes.
 
Second prize is a 52 inch LCD HDTV that will be delivered and hooked up to your cable or satellite for you. Second prize winners may choose $1500 instead.
 
Third prize is a new Hewlett Packard laptop computer or $500. There will be 10 fourth prizes, each a $75 gift certificate for a retail store or restaurant.

The drawing will be held at the annual “Bark in the Park” celebration on Oct. 4 at Turkey Hill Park near Waldorf, Maryland. Raffle ticket holders do not have to be there to win.
 
Raffle entrants need to be 18 and need only mail the Humane Society of Charles County a check for $50 for each ticket. The Humane Society will mail tickets along with a receipt. Entrants can pick up the tickets and avoid a one dollar shipping and handling fee.
 
On 4 October, the winner will be chosen randomly at our Bark in the Park event with hundreds of people looking on.
