Charles County, MD — The President has ordered the United States Flag to be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset, Wednesday, September 11, 2019 in honor of Patriot Day.
This is in honor of the individuals that lost their lives as a result of the terrorist attacks against the United States on September 11, 2001.
As a matter of protocol, the Maryland flag is lowered to half-staff. No flag may fly higher than the United States flag.
