WALDORF, Md. – On September 16, family members filed a missing person report after not hearing from their sister, Marcellena Charlene Thornton, 42, since early August.
Family members reported Ms. Thornton is under a doctor’s care and may be homeless. She is known to frequent shops and grocery stores near Promenade Place in Waldorf. Her family is concerned for her safety and well-being.
The family was able to provide a photo of Ms. Thornton that was taken several years ago. Ms. Thornton is approximately 5’7″, weighs about 160 lbs. and might be wearing eyeglasses.
Officers have pursued leads but have not yet been able to locate her. Anyone who has information about Ms. Thornton’s whereabouts is asked to call Officer Wynne at 301-932-2222.
