The St. Mary’s County Department of Recreation & Parks is continuing to accept registration forms for the Before and After School Care programs for the 2010/2011 school year.
The Before & After Care Program serves the following schools:
• Banneker Elementary
• Evergreen Elementary
• Green Holly Elementary
• Green Holly Pre-K (3 & 4 year old room) – offering part time and full time programs
• Greenview Knolls Elementary
• Hollywood Elementary
• Leonardtown Elementary
• Lettie Marshall Dent Elementary
• Mechanicsville Elementary
• Esperanza Middle (check with school transportation for drop off at Hollywood Rec Center)
• Leonardtown Middle (check with school transportation for drop off at Hollywood Rec Center)
• Margaret Brent Middle (check with school transportation for drop off at Mechanicsville Rec Center)
The program operates from 6:30 a.m. to the beginning of the school day and the close of school day until 6:30 p.m. The centers are open on teacher in-service days, early dismissal days and holiday breaks at no additional fee. Activities include homework time, am & pm snack, group games, arts & crafts, dramatic play and more.
