On April 25, at 7:30 p.m., Trooper First Class Dawson responded to the North Beach Boardwalk in the area of Bay Avenue and 3rd Street, for a reported assault.
The victim advised she and her friends were on the boardwalk, when they were approached by Michael R. Rinehart, 19 of Owings. The victim and Rinehart got into an argument which resulted in physical injury to the victim.
A warrant charging Rinehart with second-degree assault has been requested
