Leonardtown Woman Charged After Disturbance Outside Lexington Park Liquor Store

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — A Leonardtown woman was charged after deputies responded to a disturbance outside a Lexington Park liquor store, according to charging documents.

Shyann Aniqua Haley, 34, of Leonardtown, was charged with failure to obey a reasonable and lawful order, disorderly conduct, indecent exposure and trespassing on private property following the June 3, 2026, incident.

A St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to Canopy Liquor at 21636 Great Mills Road in Lexington Park for a report of a large crowd gathered in front of the store.

Charging documents state the deputy told the group to leave the premises at the owner’s request. Haley was among those in front of the store and was asked to leave.

The deputy later returned to the store after receiving another report of a disturbance. When the deputy arrived, Haley was allegedly yelling and screaming in front of the business.

A store employee told the deputy that Haley had created a disturbance in front of the store, affecting business operations, and requested that Haley be trespassed from the property.

Charging documents state Haley was asked several times to leave the premises but refused. The employee also reported that Haley had removed clothing and exposed herself outside the store.

Authorities alleged Haley’s conduct prevented several customers from entering and exiting the business.

Haley was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center for processing.

Court records show Haley was released on recognizance June 4.

A trial is set for July 14 in St. Mary’s County District Court.
