CHESAPEAKE BEACH, Md. – On March 31 at 3:51 p.m., Trooper First Class Costello and Trooper Kelly responded to the 5200 block of Breezy Point Road in Chesapeake Beach for a reported theft of a boat engine. The victim reported a Mercruiser Inboard/Outboard V-8 engine had been removed by unknown suspect(s). The Welcraft Mercury Boat was damaged during the theft. The investigation continues.
