UPDATE: Box Truck Driver Killed In Prince Frederick Collision Involving School Bus
PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — A serious crash involving a box truck and a school bus shut down Hallowing Point Road near Seagull Beach Road around 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, prompting a large emergency response and extended road closures.
According to first responders, 12 children were aboard the school bus at the time of the collision. Two initially reported minor injuries, while three were later taken to a hospital for evaluation.
The driver of the box truck was critically injured and flown from the scene by medevac. Emergency crews reported performing CPR during the response. Five additional EMS units were called to assist.
Officials urge drivers to avoid the area and expect significant delays while the investigation continues.
