UPDATE – 8:30 p.m. St. Mary’s County authorities have confirmed that Hope Chase has been found. The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office confirms that the teen is safe.

UPDATE at 7:40 p.m.

Search continues for  Hope Chase, 15, in the area between North Sandgates Road and Queen Tree Road in Oakville. Search teams are in the woods looking for her. Fire Department personnel in brush trucks are checking trails, and police are flooding the entire area.

BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR  Hope Chase. If you think you see or hear her in the woods PLEASE call 9 1 1 immediately.

She is 5-06/143 lbs, black female, 15 years of age. Last wearing black jacket, flowered pants, red and white shoes.

Be on the lookout for missing juvenile Hope Chase last seen wearing red and white shoes, black jacket, and flowered pants. She is a black female, 5-06, 143 pounds.

She is believed to be on foot in the area of Queen Tree Road in Mechanicsville.

MSP helicopter and numerous SMCSO deputies in the area actively searching for Hope Chase in the area of Queen Tree Road. Please call if you think you have seen her.
