
ST. LEONARD, Md. — Longstanding local store Buehler’s Marketplace celebrated a new era with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Dec. 19. The store, located at 4905 St. Leonard Road in St. Leonard, revealed a refreshed space and updated merchandise. The store is open seven days a week, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Buehler’s Marketplace is family-owned and operated and sells a wide variety of locally made goods. The shop features more than 75 vendors, including fresh-baked goods by Chesapeake Sourdough, handmade items and nostalgic gifts. Shoppers can browse handmade crafts, seasonal décor, collectibles, books by local authors and nostalgic St. Leonard-themed items.

The newly refreshed space blends local history, community storytelling and small-town shopping under one roof. Its on-site museum features a growing collection of artifacts, photographs and memorabilia highlighting the rich history of St. Leonard and Calvert County.
Buehler’s Marketplace is committed to supporting local businesses, preserving hometown history and creating a welcoming space for residents and visitors.
