On Oct. 27, at 8:21 a.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to JSB Apartments at 2167 Crain Highway in Waldorf for the report of a burglary in progress.
Upon arrival, officers saw the front window of the main office was broken and shattered. As officers searched the office, they found the suspect, Lamont Patrick Stafford, 34 of Waldorf, sitting on a couch.
Stafford was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary.
Officer M. Hancock made the arrest.
