During the week of November 23– November 29 deputies of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to 962 calls for service throughout the community.
Damaged Property: 2020-60991
On November 24, 2020 Deputy Lewis responded to South Shore Drive in Prince Frederick for the report of damaged property. The complainant advised that sometime between 11:30 am and 6:00 pm an unknown suspect(s) dismantled drain pipes laying throughout the yard. It appeared that the suspect tried to gain entry into the residence by damaging two window screens. The value of damaged property is $50
Damaged Property: 2020-61032
On November 24, 2020 Deputy Sturdivant responded to Cape Leonard Drive in Saint Leonard for the report of damaged property. The complainant advised that an unknown male suspect damaged a mail box, Christmas decoration and possibly stole a political sign, all located in the front of the residence. The value of damaged property is $120. The value of stolen property is $20.
On November 25, 2020 Deputy Dymond responded to Subway in Sunderland for the report of theft. The complainant advised an unknown suspect(s) stole the dealer registration plate from a vehicle that was being test driven. The value of stolen property is $300.
Domonique Strong, 33
On November 27, 2020 Sgt. Phelps and Deputy W. McDowell responded to 26th Street in Chesapeake Beach for a disorderly male subject. The complainant advised the male subject was yelling profanity and playing loud music. Sgt. Phelps advised the subject, Domonique Strong (33), to return to the residence he was staying and to stop yelling for the rest of the evening. After Strong returned to his residence, he continued yelling profanities. The deputies made contact with Strong, after a brief struggle Strong was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with Disturb Peace-Loud Noise, Fail obey reasonable/lawful order and resisting/interfering with arrest.
