CALVERT COUNTY, Md. – Calvert County business owners and entrepreneurs are invited to attend the Small Business Resources Panel on Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Calvert Library Prince Frederick.
Whether you’re starting a business, growing an existing one or looking for new opportunities, this free event will connect you with experts who can provide information about programs, services and opportunities available to support your business.
Confirmed panelists include Walter Simmons, secretary of the Maryland Department of Social and Economic Mobility, and Jinal Contractor, small business and community development director with the Office of the Maryland Comptroller.
Following the panel discussion, attendees will have an opportunity to network with resource partners and fellow business owners. In recognition of Black Business Month, the event will also celebrate Black-owned businesses and their contributions to Calvert County’s economy and community.
The event is presented by the Calvert County Chamber of Commerce, Calvert County Department of Economic Development, Calvert County Minority Business Alliance, Southern Maryland Minority Chamber of Commerce and Calvert Library.
