Friday, June 1 – Jake Owen, Chris Janson, and Robbie Boothe perform live

4 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Country music star Jake Owen will perform live at the PNC Waterside Pavilion. Owen is joined by charmer Chris Janson, whose recent songs “Drunk Girl” and “Buy Me a Boat” have become #1 hits. Enjoy tailgating and see Southern Maryland’s own Robbie Boothe performing an intimate set live on the new party lawn. Gates open early at 4 p.m. with food and beverage vendors. Sunday, June 3 – Dee of St. Mary’s Public Sail

2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Sail on the Dee of St. Mary’s leaving from the museum dock. Fee is $25 for ages 13 and up, $15 for children 5 – 12. No children under 5 please.  Preregistration required, call 410-326-2042 ext. 41 to register.

Tuesday, June 5 – Yoga with Frannie

6 – 7 p.m. Yoga is returning to the Calvert Marine Museum on Tuesday evenings in the Corbin Pavilion starting June 5 through September 25. Classes will follow the “Stretch and Strengthen” Vinyasa-style format and all levels are welcome. $10/class (cash or check accepted).

Saturday, June 9 – Lighthouse Adventure Cruises – Southern Bay

7:45 a.m. – 5 p.m.  Lighthouse lovers are welcome aboard a private charter vessel to tour the Southern Bay. The cost is $130 for the day-long trip; museum members pay $120. Wednesday, June 20 – Calvert County and the Opioid Epidemic

6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Join us in the Harms Gallery for a Community Conversation about the Opioid epidemic in Calvert County. The evening’s program includes discussions and training on signs and symptoms of Opioid abuse, emerging drug trends, substance abuse and the family, and Naloxone training. Sponsored by Calvert Alliance Against Substance Abuse, Inc. (CAASA) and Calvert County Behavioral Health Services.

2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Make a toy boat in the Boat Basin (weather permitting) with sessions starting on the half hour. $2 donation per boat requested. Museum admission required. For ages 5 and up.

Monday, June 25 through Wednesday, June 27 – Coroplast Boat Camp

9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Children in grades 7 – 9 are invited to exercise STEM skills and build a canoe out of recycled plastic. Fee is $75; members are $60. Email Melissa.McCormick@calvertcountymd.gov to register.

Thursday, June 28 – Little Minnows

10 a.m. – 11 a.m.  Messy Day: Science & Art! For children ages 3 to 5 years. Members are FREE;
$5 for non-members.

Saturday, June 30 – Pirate Pizza Cruise
