Prince Frederick, Md. – The Calvert County Planning Commission
is seeking public comment on the first draft of the updated Calvert County Comprehensive Plan. Three open houses are scheduled in November for residents to review the draft and ask questions. Each open house will feature an introductory presentation, stations with information boards
and staff available to answer questions. The open houses are self-paced; residents may come and go throughout the events.

The schedule is as follows:

• Monday, Nov. 13 – 6:30-8:30 p.m., Calvert Marine Museum, 14200 Solomons Island
Road South, Solomons
• Tuesday, Nov. 14 – 6:30-8:30 p.m., Dunkirk Volunteer Fire Department, 3170 West
Ward Road, Dunkirk
• Thursday, Nov. 16 – 6:30-8:30 p.m., Calvert High School, 520 Fox Run Blvd., Prince
Frederick

Residents are encouraged to attend and ask questions at one of the three open houses prior to submitting comments in writing. Comments can be submitted during the open houses, or in writing by U.S mail or email no later than Dec. 8, 2017.
