WALDORF, Md. – Today we say farewell to a special member of the CCSO family as he begins his retirement: Mr. Peter Lambert. Peter has served as the Quartermaster for the Agency for nearly 6 years, but has been working either directly in DOD, Government Contracting and local Government for about 51 years!

Peter began his career at age 17 when he joined the U.S. Navy, and there he served our country for 23 years. After retiring from the Navy as a Lieutenant Commander, he worked for government contracting companies for 16 years. He later joined the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office as the Quartermaster and Fleet Manager, and finished his career here in Charles County.

In his retirement, he plans to do some home renovations and “take it easy.”

Peter, thank you for your commitment to public service and for serving here with us. We wish you all the best in your retirement!
