On Dec. 10, Charles County Sheriff’s detectives assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division arrested a 15-year-old male in connection with the armed robbery of the Westlake Dash-In that occurred on Dec. 1 at 3:50 p.m.
During the robbery, the suspect entered the store, approached a clerk, showed part of a gun and demanded money. The clerk complied and the suspect fled.
Detectives received a tip in the case and subsequently identified the suspect. Investigators also recovered evidence at the suspect’s house linking him to the crime.
The youth was charged with armed robbery and remanded to a juvenile holding facility.
