On Thursday, March 17, Charles County Sheriff’s Officers assigned to the Special Operations Division conducted several DUI checkpoints and saturation patrols throughout the county looking for impaired drivers. As a result, officers arrested 7 people for DUI, charged another person with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, issued 157 traffic citations, 168 warnings, 21 equipment repair orders and recovered a stolen car.
