CHARLOTTE HALL, Md. — A woman was trapped and injured Monday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash that closed part of Golden Beach Road in Charlotte Hall.
The crash was reported around 3:45 p.m. on June 15, 2026, at Golden Beach Road and Triangle Drive.
Emergency crews were called for a serious motor vehicle crash with entrapment involving a black Honda CR-V and a gray Hyundai Venue. The Honda CR-V was on its side just off the roadway, with an injured woman trapped inside.
The trapped woman was conscious and breathing when first responders arrived.
Firefighters extricated her within minutes of arriving and turned her over to EMS for care.
EMS evaluated two patients at the scene. The woman was transported by ground to UM Capital Region Medical Center.
Golden Beach Road at Triangle Drive was closed while crews cleared the scene.
Police are investigating the crash.
