On June 7 at 10:05 p.m., a citizen flagged down an officer in the 3300 block of Crain Highway in Waldorf and reported suspected drug activity.
The officer obtained a description of the suspect and located him nearby. As the officer approached, the suspect attempted to run. After a brief struggle, he was subdued and placed under arrest. Officers found crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia on his person.
Terry Patrick Thomas, 34 of Ripley, was charged with possession of drugs, resisting arrest and second-degree assault.
