Calvert County Public Schools Opening 2 Hours Late on Wednesday, Jan. 27

  • School opening will be delayed 2 hours due to inclement weather. No AM Pre-Kindergarten.
  • The workday for 10 and 11-month employees will begin 30 minutes before the scheduled student starting time.
  • 12-month employees, including emergency personnel, report on time.
  • No Food Service Workers are to report prior to 8:00 a.m.

CHARLES COUNTY

All Charles County Public Schools will reopen with a two-hour delay on Wed., Jan. 27, 2016. All half-day PreK classes – both AM & PM – are canceled.

ST. MARY’S COUNTY

All St. Mary’s County Public Schools, including FULL day Head Start, will have a delayed opening of two hours for Wednesday, January 27, 2016. A.M. Pre-Kindergarten and A.M. Head Start students will not have school. However, there will be classes for P.M. Pre-Kindergarten and P.M. Head Start students.

St. Mary’s County Public Schools will have a delayed opening of two hours for Wednesday, January 27, 2016. Ten and eleven-month employees report to work two hours late. Twelve-month employees report to work up to two hours late but no later than 9:20 a.m. Food service workers are to report to work no later than 9:00 a.m. All employees normally beginning their day after 9:20 a.m. are to report to work on time.
