Dunkirk, MD— On Jan.13 Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Deputy A. Curtin was dispatched to Town Center Boulevard, in Dunkirk, for the report of a shoplifting.
It was determined Walmart and the Olympia Sports store were both victims. Regina Wanzor, 49, and Lloyd Hill, 49, both from Washington, DC, were detained for questioning. ย
According to court documents, “Allen (cousin) stated he drove the two individualsย to the Shopping Center. A canvass of the shopping center revealed two peopleย matching the description given.”ย
“Located inside of the pink bag I (Curtin) located 10 children’s onesies, five children’sย pants, and three children’sย caps. Inside another bag, I (Curtin) located two Nike sweatshirts, three Under Armor sweatshirts, one pair of Under Armor sweat pants, and one Under Armor hat,” according to court documents.ย
They were both arrested and charged with theft less than $1,000 and theft scheme less than $1,000. A third suspect involved will be served a criminal summons and also arrested on the same charges.
Hill and Wanzor both have a court date scheduled for March. 23 at Calvert County District Court. Both Hill and Wanzor face a maximum jail sentence of four years and six months and or $1,500.ย
