HYATTSVILLE, Maryland — The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating two deadly incidents, including a car crash on Sunday that claimed the life of a teen.
Around 12:15 am, officers said 18-year-old Jose Casarrubias Sanchez of Beltsville was traveling south on Ager Road. He veered off the roadway and struck a median and a fence. He was alone in the car.
He was transported to the hospital and died the following day. Officers are not sure what caused the crash and the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating.

Officer Hits Pedestrian
Officers are also investigating a fatal accident where an on-duty PGPD officer hit and killed a pedestrian in Langley Park.
The accident happened Monday, around 9 pm near University Boulevard and 15th Avenue.
An on-duty PGPD officer driving an unmarked police vehicle hit a pedestrian attempting to cross University Boulevard. The officer was not responding to a call for service and was not injured in the accident.
