Bailey Walden

Owings, MD— On Jan.15, Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Deputy W. Durner conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Rt.2/Skinners Turn Road, in Owings.

One of the occupants, Bailey Walden, 19 of Dunkirk was found to be in possession of paraphernalia (plastic bag).

Durner stated in charging documents, “I placed Walden in handcuffs and conducted a search of his person. While conducting this search I smelled what I know from my training and experience to be a strong odor of raw marijuana emitting from Walden’s person.”

“I asked Walden if there was anything on his person that would not be allowed in the detention center. Walden advised me that he did have a bag of marijuana in his butt. Walden proceeded to pull the bag of marijuana out of his butt,” according to court documents.

Walden was transported to the detention center where he was charged for the paraphernalia and also served an outstanding active warrant.

Walden has a court date scheduled for March.24 at the Calvert County District Court. Walden does not face jail time. However, Walden faces a maximum fine of $500.
