Someone attempted to gain entry into a vehicle parked in the parking lot of Calvert Memorial Hospital sometime between 11:00 a.m. and 7:20 p.m. on March 17. The damage is estimated at $300. DFC R. Kreps is handling the investigation.

Theft Case #15-15249:
A victim in the 4100 block of Hance Road in Port Republic reported to DFC J. Hardesty that two movies and two box set movies were delivered to his home on March 17. The mailman advises they were left in a bag hanging on the mailbox. When the homeowner went to retrieve them, they were gone. The investigation is ongoing.
Destruction of Property Case #15-15642:
On March 21 at 11:30 a.m. a vehicle owner parked his car at Calvert Cliffs State Park in Lusby and went for a hike. When he returned about two hours later, he discovered someone had shattered the driver’s side window. Nothing was missing from inside the vehicle. DFC Y. Bortchevsky is investigating.
