Ten years ago on October 8th, 2005 Reggie Rice embarked on presenting his community, Southern Maryland, with his very first illusion show at his Alma-Mater Great Mills High School. That was the beginning, but certainly not the end as he continues to spread the magic of laughter and has become a very well-known professional comedy illusionist.

Reggie Rice has known his whole life that he was born to entertain but it was not clear exactly how that would happen until he discovered the art of magic and comedy.  Actually, it happened by circumstances in life as Reggie had dyslexia growing up, it was difficult but he didn’t realize at the time that this trial in his life was helping him hone in on a craft that was to become his destiny.  Using comedy, he would win the teachers and students over, giving him confidence that can sometimes be lost when someone, especially a youngster, is struggling with a learning disability.  Later, as a teen, he took his first step in realizing his dreams when he began working at Hyperspace Fun Center, entertaining families at children’s birthday parties.

As a result of his experiences as a youth, Reggie always encourages kids to find a passion and follow their dreams, no matter what obstacles come their way.  Some people spend a lifetime figuring out what they want to do with their life but through God’s blessing he has been able to make a career out of doing what he loves.

Over the last decade, Reggie Rice has taken Southern Maryland by storm by performing at hundreds of birthday parties, fairs, festivals, schools, and community events… if there’s an event to be performed at, he’s done it.   Reggie has repeatedly had the honor of opening for the First Lady Michelle Obama as Children’s National Medical Center’s #1 entertainment choice.

This show is neither the beginning nor the end as Reggie Rice and Company plans to travel the country and take this full evening illusion show on the road.   So, we’re calling all fans from past, present and future to come out and join us at Reggie’s 10th Anniversary Show and to be a part of bigger things to come.
