At 8:35 pm on Friday, Feb. 10, TFC F. Dolinger observed a vehicle driving partially on the shoulder on Pegg Road at Westbury Blvd., Lexington Park. A small bag was observed being thrown from the vehicle.
The vehicle was stopped and the driver identified as LaRay Anthony Maddox, 23, of Lexington Park. The bag was recovered and found to contain marijuana. A second bag was recovered which contained suspected cocaine.
Mr. Maddox was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Cocaine. He was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bail review.
