On June 19, at 9:45 a.m., Trooper Wyer stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 4 at the Thomas Johnson Bridge in Solomons.
The driver, John M. Scott, 47 of Lusby, was taken into custody for an active warrant. A search revealed pills and a smoking device for cocaine.
The passenger, Timothy M. Dalrymple, 41 of St. Leonard, was arrested.
Both Scott and Dalrymple were charged with possession of drugs. Both were transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
