Waldorf, MD โ ย A vacant two-story house in Charles County was deliberately set on fire early Saturday morning, Jan. 7, state investigators reported. According to the Maryland State Fire Marshalโs Office, the fire at the house on Briarwood Drive in Waldorf was reported at 4:17 a.m.
โUnknown suspects entered the unoccupied dwelling and intentionally set the house on fire,โ a deputy state fire marshalโs report stated. Investigators determined the fire was set on the first floor.
Forty-five firefighters were dispatched to the one-alarm blaze and brought it under control in 30 minutes. There were no injuries. Damage to the house is estimated at $300,000.

Waldorf MD — On Jan.7. at 4:17am. First Responders along with mutual aid arrived on the scene to find a unoccupied house fully engulfed. The fire department worked for over two hours in 20 degree temperatures to extinguish the blaze. ย
