Hollywood, MD – On Sunday afternoon, November 29, the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) and the Ladies Auxiliary sponsored a children’s Christmas party to kick off the holidays.
Raffle tickets were given to parents for one girl’s and one boy’s bike, plus a huge Christmas stocking.
Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus arrived at and the kids wrote Santa a wish list and placed it in the Santa Box. Sparky the Firedog was there to meet and greet. Crafts and refreshments were provided.
The children got to decorate wreaths, watch a fire truck parade, see a beautiful Christmas tree and were all given bags of candy.
