
CLEMENTS, Md. –ย On March 11, 2021 at approximately 4:24 a.m., Seventh District Volunteer Fire Department and surrounding companies were alerted to a vehicle fire threatening a structure at 24461 Budds Creek Road in Clements.

Firefighters arrived and located a pickup truck fully involved with extension to a garage. Crews quickly extinguished the fire within 15 minutes. No injuries were reported. The State Fire Marshals Office was requested to investigate the incident.

The fire marshals investigation determined the fire originated in the engine compartment of vehicle. Estimated structure damage is $50,000.00 and contents of $1,500.00.
The fire involved a vehicle parked in the driveway of the residenceย The fire extended to a nearby barn. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.ย
