AVENUE, Md. – Today, November 29, at approximately 1:48 a.m., firefighters responded to the structure fire in the 38000 block of Ted Drive in the Mount Pleasant Subdivision in Avenue.
The caller was on the scene reporting the flames are visible and no one is trapped inside the home.
Crews arrived to find the fire on the deck of the one story home, spreading to the corner of the structure. The fire was out in about ten minutes with no extension. No injuries have been reported.
The Office of the State’s Fire Marshal has been notified to continue an investigation. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
