All around Southern Maryland this past July 4th weekend, there were fireworks shows to celebrate the nation’s independence. TheBAYNET.com was present at many of the local celebrations to capture all the fun.
On Friday July 3, at St. Mary’s College of Maryland in conjunction with the River Concert series, there was a great fireworks show where concert goers were treated to “It’s A ’50’s Fourth.”
During the concert, a large crowd overflowed the Townhouse Green while listening to The Chesapeake Orchestra led by maestro Jeffrey Silberschlag, performances by jazz vocalist, Hilary Kole and a rousing great time.
On July 4, at St. Mary’s County Fair Grounds, Freedom Fest enthralled a large crowd with some great fireworks and fun for the whole family.
At the same time in Solomons, there were even more fireworks and in Hollywood another amazing show to delight eager onlookers.
