Charles County, MD — Charles County flags will be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, September 7.
It’s all in honor of Charles “Smokey” Milstead, who served 55 years with the Nanjemoy Fire Department.
On the Nanjemoy Volunteer Fire Department Facebook page, Milstead’s fellow firefighters said, “We have lost another legend. Rest In Peace Smokey. God bless you and we love you.”
The viewing will be held Saturday September 7th 2019 at Oak Grove Baptist Church from 9 to 11 a.m.
