On May 23, police responded to the Subway Restaurant on MacArthur Boulevard in California,ย for a report of a burglary.ย  Unknown person(s) smashed an exterior window to gain entry to the business.ย  Once inside, money was stolen from a cash register and safe.

Detectives from the St. Maryโ€™s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations assumed the investigation.ย  Detectives reviewed the restaurantโ€™s video surveillance system and developed Fred Allen Linkous-Lincoln, 20 of California,ย a former employee, as a suspect.

On June 1, 2010 BCI Detectives executed a search and seizure warrant at Linkous-Lincolnโ€™s residence and detained four subjects. Detectives subsequently charged Linkous-Lincoln with Second-Degree Burglary, Destruction of Property and Theft.

The burglary investigation is continuing.ย  Further arrests and charges may be pending following a review with the States Attorneyโ€™s Office.
