On Jan. 30, at approximately 3 p.m., two students – a sister and brother – at Great Mills High School assaulted a female bus driver in the parking lot. A St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office investigation revealed that the bus driver was in a verbal dispute with a female student, 15.
The bus driver told police that the female student had been suspended from riding the bus and that when she had asked the student to leave the bus; the student argued and assaulted her.
Then the student’s older brother then allegedly assaulted the driver by pushing her head into the dash board.
The brother is 18-years-old; however, his name is not being released at this time because he has not been served with charges yet. TBN learned from SMCSO that application for charges has been completed against him.
The 15-year-old was charged as a juvenile and released to her mother. This case is still under investigation.
