Authorities are investigating an accident involving a pedestrian struck early this morning around 6:20 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 13 along the 17600 block of Piney Point Road in Piney Point.
Investigation revealed a 13-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle as she was waiting at the school bus stop. The 13-year-old patient was flown to Children’s Hospital due to mechanism of her injury. The teen never lost consciousness and is expected to survive.
Witnesses on the scene tell TBN it was dark at the time of the crash. No word if any charges will be made.
