ย Swing into spring at the 25th Annual Calvert Memorial Hospital Foundation, Inc. Benefit Golf Classic set for Monday, May 19 at Lake Presidential Golf Club in Upper Marlboro. Proceeds from the event will be used to support a new patient portal that will enhance patient access to care information after they leave the hospital.

Through the portal, patients will be able to view, download and print essential medical information such as lab and radiology results, discharge instructions, prescribed medications and scheduled appointments to use for reference and to share with other providers. This convenient, 24-hour access is intended to make it easier for them to manage their post-discharge care and promote their own wellness.

Since the tournament began in 1990, it has raised more than $960,000 for new medical technology and much-needed healthcare services. Last yearโ€™s proceeds were used to help equip the new urgent care center that just opened in Prince Frederick. There is a wide array of sponsorship options available including tee signs, foursomes and corporate packages.
