St. Mary’s County EMS were alerted at 12:07 p.m. on Friday, March 21 to Hampton Road in Leonardtown.
The request was from the St. Mary’s County police, on the scene for a male subject with self-inflicted gun shot wound.
St. Mary’s County EMS arrived shortly later and requested a helicopter to transport the patient to a trauma center.
