St. Mary’s County Sheriff Timothy K. Cameron would like to welcome new Corrections Officers Brandon Foor, Benjamin Allen, Joshua Krum, Glenn Knott and Evita Montgomery.  These Officers completed the Southern Maryland Criminal Justice Academy’s ten week Corrections Entry Level Training program, graduating on Friday, Jan. 30.  Correctional Officer Glenn Knott received the Physical Fitness Training Award during the graduation ceremony.

Also graduating from the Corrections Entry Level Training Program were two civilian employees of the St. Mary’s County Detention Center, Nurse Karen Porter and Non-Custodial Parent Resource Coordinator Tiffany Murphy.  Civilians, who deal directly with inmates, attend the corrections entry level program but are not required to participate in the physical fitness training of the program.
