On Oct. 8, at 11:30 p.m., Charles Wade Simpson, 66 of California, was arrested by Tpr. M. Adams for hindering and interfering with the arrest of his son, Brian Edward Simpson, 35 of California.
When Troopers arrived at the residence in the 44000 block of St. Andrews Lane in California in an attempt to locate Brian Simpson, he was observed exiting the living room and going up a set of fold down stairs leading into the attic. Simpson was located in the attic and was arrested by Tpr. Adams on an outstanding bench warrant for failing to appear in District Court in Prince Frederick on Sept. 8. The original charges were possession of marijuana and possession of CDS paraphernalia.
Both Simpsons were transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where they were charged accordingly.
