ST. LEONARD, Md. — A driver was injured early Thursday morning after a vehicle flipped along Calvert Beach Road in St. Leonard and traveled a significant distance before coming to rest.
The crash was reported around 1 a.m. on June 11, 2026, on Calvert Beach Road near Elliott Street.
The vehicle reportedly began flipping near Brandywine Street before continuing roughly 1,000 feet from where the crash started.
Emergency crews arrived to find the driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle.
The driver was transported to CalvertHealth Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
Police are continuing to investigate.
